Video :: Recycling a Barn
The Land-Grant Brewing Company team took a trip to rural Ohio to reclaim barn siding from a barn that was tagged for demolition. The wood will be reused in the Land-Grant taproom.

On Tuesday (Earth Day) the whole Land-Grant team took a trip to rural Ohio to help tear down and reclaim an old barn that need to come down. I shot this little time-lapse film to document the day.

New Work :: CoSign 2013
With their sights set on critical mass and creating the impact needed to make a project like CoSign a truly replicable process, the minds at Haile/US Bank Foundation and the American Sign Museum decided they had a job to finish in Northside. A second installation of nine additional signs was once again introduced on Black Friday of 2013 to the already existing signage from 2012’s first ever CoSign initiative. And, boy, did it leave a mark. If you haven’t visited recently, the Hamilton Avenue strip in the heart of Northside is home to some of the city’s most exciting and eccentric new businesses. Adding to the recent buzz, the latest round of CoSign-induced signage dipped into Cincinnati’s thriving talent pool of artists and fabricators to deliver the final touches on Northside’s drive-by facelift. the Queen City project is a collaboration between Bluestone Creative & Alias Imaging. As a member of the Queen City Project, I was honored to play a part in the documentation of CoSign 2013, editing the video you see above (with imagery provided by Alias Imaging and Bluestone Creative). CoSign, in it's second year, is a non-profit program that connects independent business-owners, designers, and fabricators to create a one-of-a-kind signage. The designers and fabricators are compensated for their work, the business receives a free-of-charge sign, and a neighborhood receives a transformative facelift. Everybody wins.

Video :: Cincinnati

Last year, I pitched in and shot some B-Roll for the Cincinnati chapter of Creative Mornings. It was used in the application video they put together. The Cincinnati version of the series has been going strong for almost a year now, and they are a truly inspiring way to start a Friday. I set my footage to the smooth sounds of Nick Waterhouse to create the quick Cincy-centric video above.

This is a video I had the pleasure of working on as a member of the Queen City Project, handling the editing and some of the photography duties. It premeired at the CEOs for Cities 2012 National Meeting here in Cincinnati, and it highlights the entrepreneurial awesomeness that's going on here in town. The City Flea

The first ever City Flea went down this past weekend on the corner of Vine and Central. There were tons of cool things to buy, eat and see. The organizers reached out to me to document the event, and the above video and below photos are what I saw. Give them a look, and spread the word because the City Flea is an awesome addition to downtown Cincinnati. See you at the next one (July 9).
